Service · Mobile app development
One app, both stores, one team accountable.
Who develops iOS and Android apps in Sri Lanka?
We build iOS and Android apps from a single codebase, with the backend and the store listings included, so a business gets one team accountable for the whole thing. Offline-first where it matters — the till in Sevo Biz App keeps selling when the connection drops.
What you receive
Things you can point at.
- An iOS and Android app from a single codebase, designed for the platform conventions of each
- The backend and admin screens it needs — an app without its server is half a product
- Offline behaviour designed deliberately: what works without signal, what waits, how conflicts resolve
- App Store and Google Play listings, screenshots and the review process handled
- Analytics and crash reporting wired in from the first build, so you know what people actually do
How it runs
Four steps, in this order.
- 1
Scope
The five screens that matter, the data behind them, and what must work offline.
- 2
Prototype
A clickable build on your own phone within the first weeks, before the backend is finished.
- 3
Build and test
Real devices, slow networks, low batteries. Beta through TestFlight and Play internal testing.
- 4
Release
Store submission, the review back-and-forth, and a release process you can repeat.
What it costs
How the number is arrived at.
A written quotation follows a first conversation, usually within one working day, and it is the number that governs the project: fixed for the agreed scope, with changes priced before they are done rather than discovered on the invoice. A published price guide for this service is being prepared; until it is here, the fastest way to a figure is a message describing what you need.
Why us
We do this for our own products first.
Sevo Biz App's till is an offline-first application that keeps selling through a power cut and syncs every sale in order when the line returns. That is the standard the mobile work is held to.
Questions
Asked before hiring.
Native or cross-platform?
Cross-platform from one codebase for almost every business app, because it halves the cost of every future change and the result is indistinguishable to the user for the screens a business needs. Native only where a specific hardware capability demands it, and we will say so in the quote.
Do I need an Apple developer account?
Yes — the app is published under your name, not ours. We set the accounts up with you (Apple charges USD 99 a year, Google a one-off USD 25) and handle the submissions from there.
Will the app work without internet?
If it needs to, yes, and this is decided at the start rather than discovered later: which screens work offline, what is queued, and how a conflict is resolved when two people change the same thing.
Tell us about the project.
A sentence or two is enough to start. A written quotation usually follows within one working day.
